Azure Blades

"To work in both darkness and light to preserve the balance.

Our service is ever to the world, not ever to serve oneself."

From a small corner of Eorzea, one small group operates independently of others, separate from the Grand Companies, the Free Companies and any oversight. They are the Azure Blades, and they work to ensure that the lands of Eorzea remain protected and safe from threats that cannot be unveiled to the public, as well as dealing with the worst of these threats before they become a public problem.

All this operates from a small apartment space in the Mist, keeping as small and inconspicuous as possible.

For the Light

"The people of Eorzea need to see the world is better than they think."

To the people of Eorzea as a whole, Tiamos Loren and the Azure Blades work to assist and aid the Grand Companies, Free Companies and adventurers from all over to quell threats that govern their way of life, being sometimes compared to the efforts and work of the Scions, though nowhere near on the scale of such renowned and revered saviours of Eorzea. Not that any company can realistically compare to the group that works alongside the Warrior of Light in any capacity, but nobody would dare to take the job of the Warrior of Light, even in this group. So they simply do what they can.

For the Shadow

"Eorzea has threats that even the greatest in the realm cannot see..."

In secret, the Azure Blades work in secret to observe and oversee the realm as a whole, doing what they can to ensure nothing escapes their sight that may plague the realm. Though they are not perfect, and not every place is accessible to them, they are alert to what is going on, working with a network that spans the length and breadth of Eorzea to prioritize and neutralise anything that could be flagged as dangerous to the safety of the realm, seeking to work before any of the companies get involved. Being as small as they are, however, not everything can be stopped as easily if seen too late.
