Skar Fenoris
"Befriending me is your choice, not mine."
A man on a mission, focused on the task at hand and straight as an arrow, while also blunt about his opinions and not in the job to make friends. That is the life that has become Skar Fenoris. Despite not knowing much of his history or his past, he is very determined and confident in his ability, and has no problem in doing his job what he has learned. But for himself, the point to a fight is to live another day, either for himself or for those he is working for. Friends as well, though those are few in his book.​

Trained in defensive arts from a time he doesn't remember, he puts them out for two reasons: A paycheck and a chance to get back something he has lost. His memories. He does not remember much of his past, and what little he does remember is fleeting and comes in sporadic flashes. On top of this, he has seen varying moments that he is unfamiliar with, albeit rarely to this point. He doesn't try to let this deter him from the mission, all that said, and his mentality is of placing the job first - anything else beyond that can wait another day or ten.
Personality
"Eh...I suppose I got nothing better to do."
At his core, Skar is very much a loner: He works alone, he fights for himself and doesn't get himself attached easily to anything or anyone. It's how he finds life working best: No strings attached, no loose ends to tie over, just get the job done and call it a day. Perhaps it is this reason that makes him abrasive to most people who come across him, often only getting involved if he finds reason to get involved and otherwise taking to a corner of the room and choosing not to be a bother.

If he can respect anything, however, it is the intelligence of other people, and doubly so when they can apply that intellect in a combat scenario. He can come to trust anyone who shows skill and talent enough to work alongside him, and he can find himself working with others if they are in the right mindset with him. After a long time of odd jobs, however, he only really gets social if in a situation where it is unavoidable to do so. Despite this, to those he works alongside and trust, he can be quite vocal and talkative, perhaps proving that it is better to be silent an thought a fool than speak up and prove it.
Combat & Skills
"I will not be broken...not by the likes of you!"
Skar's expertise is in using the "sword & board" approach, and leans heavily towards the militaristic use of it among groups, having a history of giving his aid to pushing back the Amalj'aa forces threatening Thanalan's vast landscape. He has only recently taken on the task of learning on how to be a Free Paladin, being judged enough to be worthy of learning the path and given the soul crystal as proof of this endeavour.

Given the vague source of his experiences, he has also shown capability in adapting the style, having a quick mind and the sharp observational skill to adjust to the needs at the moment. Though this has proven to be not as effective in some scenarios, in others it has been the difference between life and death for him and his allies. Where this skill to sense the intentions of another comes from remains a mystery, and even Skar doesn't have full control of this ability with his limited knowledge in that regard. He remains thankful for it when it appears, however, and has spared him a worse fate than most would expect by now.
